"We decided to try this place. A friend of mine came here a while back and share pictures and her experience and she was happy. We were surprised by how small it was but usually the smaller places like this are the better ones. I had the chicken fried steak with extra gravy and eggs over medium. The eggs for perfectly cooked. The chicken fried steak was delicious, tender and hot. She had the farmers omelette with a side of salsa. It's a big omelette but she said it tasted good. Both came with hash browns which we're good. She had a coffee and I had orange juice which were both good. The coffee is locally sourced and is special made for them. Great little place. Well be back."

"Food was excellent, service excellent, very reasonably priced. The ONLY complaint is that I was freezing. The ranch is the good kind, fries are the good battered kind, water didn't taste weird. Space is very small, but worth it if you have to wait. The patty melt and Florentine omelet was $28"

"I went today on my birthday to get a Bacon Egg & cheese on sourdough. As they are always amazing here. I did get it to go and when I got back to my truck to check everything they put a banana, blueberry, strawberry cheesecake pancake extra and it was amazing. They are always so nice and have great food and service."

"The breakfast was amazing -- especially the pancake with fresh fruit, like a perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Fluffy, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive. A great spot we'll definitely return to!"

"At first glance one might think "hmmm, this place is a dive". At first glance for me, I start getting excited and think "I can't wait to try this place!" In my not so humble opinion, it's the little dives that serve up the best food. Matt and Mandy's certainly didn't disappoint! We got there at the right time, cause it started filling up quickly after we arrived. The joint is wonderfully dedicated to our wonderful men and women in uniform. I love that. Looking at all the photos made my heart proud and happy, all those folks willing to serve our country and protect our wonderful freedom in the USA. Thank you for your service and for acknowledging our military. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and boy, oh boy! It was HUGE! Not only huge, but amazingly tender and flavorful. He was one happy camper. One of the best he's eaten. I got a half order of Eggs Benedict and half order of Biscuits and Gravy. The hollandaise was excellent and the poached egg runny and creamy the way they should be! On top of that, the country gravy on the biscuit was delicious. Just so flavorful! I do believe we have found a new breakfast spot, and will go out of our way to get there for another breakfast! The staff was friendly and kind. If that is how to run a "dive", then Matt and Mandy's are excelling in their purpose!"

"We were traveling home and I was getting hungry and plugged in Ridgefield breakfast places and Matt and Mandy's came up. So we decided to try it. We were seated right away as a few people had just left as we were heading in. It is a small cafe and the walls are covered with military photos of people In the community that have served in the military. The staff was very friendly and the prices were more than fair. They had a 1/2 order of Chicken friend steak and eggs and I was more then happy to order this as it has been awhile since I have had a really great one. Wow is all I can say!! Cut it with a fork. I had the hash browns with the added onions a definite must have. The flavors were perfect!! The eggs were perfectly cooked. I wish I lived closer because this would be a weekly treat!! So if you are ever passing through or even if you live there and have never been, I highly recommend this place!! Great atmosphere, staff and food! Oh and I saw the full order of chicken fried steak and the steak was the whole plate!!"

"We were traveling thru and found this diner that we had to check out. It was easy to locate and parking lot was smaller but we got there before it got busy. You walk in and you are struck by the walls & of even the ceiling as they were covered in military photos - young and old. We got a table and order taken. We split the Eggs Benedict w/stuffed hash-browns. the waitress was thoughtful and brought it split to the table. Ordered a side of biscuit, bacon and potato salad (homemade) to go. Service was great food was tasty & priced well but the ambiance was amazing! Give it a shot and support local that give a much deserved shout out to our military service members"
